Meet Family Galavant

About Us

We are a Chicago based family of five that love family vacations & outings whenever we can fit them in between two careers and our three kids school and activities.  We’ve travelled together since our kids were babes to most recently braving Disney World during spring break.    Family vacations & outings are a chance for us to get away from the hustle and stress of everyday life and spend quality family time together making memories.

Meet our family

• Mike: Works for a software company & has been an SPG member for a long time (the best loyalty program). Mike has finally gotten the family to ski and hopes to continue our annual ski trip to Whistler.
• Bridget:   Attorney.   Spent nearly 6 years at Hyatt and was fortunate to work in hospitality and travel for Hyatt in the US and Asia.  Loves Orange Theory Fitness and a good glass of red wine.  Hawaii is my piece of heaven and my dream vacay is to St. Regis in Bora Bora.
• Fiona: new teenager who loves dance.    1^st vacation was to Las Vegas (not best parenting decision), but her jam is the beach working on a tan reading a good book.
• Hugh: Ultimate Chicago Bears fan and loves all sports.  Ideal trip would be to the Super bowl (preferably if the Chicago Bears are in it!).
• Lucy: youngest of the bunch who likes dance & soccer.  Loves Disney World, especially the rollercoasters and was the only one to brave Summit Plummet (near-vertical drop on one of the tallest, fastest freefall body slides in the world) at Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon.
